The Harmony Initiative Society

Restoring harmony through arts, culture and community by placing a positive value on what makes each of us unique and celebrating our commonalities.

What is THIS?

The Harmony Initiative Society, aka THIS, is a non-profit initiative-driven collective. We specialize in creating platforms focused on community restoration at a humanitarian level. Our goal is simple, to bring people together through arts and culture. We are dedicated to providing meaningful experiences that encourage community engagement and immersive learning opportunities through social awareness campaigns and community events.

Who is THIS?

The Harmony Initiative Society was founded by Warren Dean Flandez and Geeta Schallig, two Tsawwassen residents who saw the opportunity to respond to global need on a local scale. United by the belief that change starts at home, they were inspired to promote diversity and inclusion by connecting the dots within the community, rather than checking the boxes. After enlisting the help of likeminded friends NaRai Dawn Sherritt and Michael Soltis, THIS was born. Collectively, their backgrounds range in music, entertainment, arts, business, technology, community outreach and cultural development.
